ESMS Inova, LLC is seeking a full-time File Room Clerk & Pharmacy Assistant for Equine Sports Medicine and Surgery (ESMS), a busy equine referral hospital and outpatient clinic in Weatherford, Texas. This dependable, detail-oriented role supports medical records management and pharmacy inventory while working closely with veterinarians and staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30+ hours/week)
Established in 2002, ESMS is a multi-veterinarian equine practice providing advanced services including ICU and critical care, hospitalization, 24-hour emergency care, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, CT imaging, surgery, lameness evaluation, reproduction, ambulatory care, dentistry, and wellness services.
Key Responsibilities

Organize, retrieve, and digitize veterinary medical records

Create and maintain accurate patient files while ensuring confidentiality

Maintain a clean and orderly file room

Assist with pharmacy and medical supply inventory, ordering, and receiving

Track pharmaceutical and supply usage for accurate billing

Support veterinarians and staff with daily hospital operations

Communicate professionally and courteously with staff and clients
Qualifications

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting

Professional handling of confidential information

Basic computer and typing skills

Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

Veterinary or medical office experience preferred
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds, with or without assistance
