ESMS Inova, LLC has an immediate opportunity for a full-time (30+ hours per week)

Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join Equine Sports Medicine & Surgery’s (“ESMS”) ambulatory/racetrack division in the Tulsa, OK area. This position offers an experienced veterinary technician/assistant the chance to provide a wide range of equine care in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting doctors and collaborating with staff in the care of patients.

  • Monitoring patients’ comfort and condition, promptly notifying doctors of concerns.

  • Performing laboratory procedures, administering medications, assisting with lameness exams, preparing medications, stocking supplies, and completing other essential duties.

  • Scheduling service requests.

  • Entering, retrieving, and verifying data.

  • Maintaining files and records.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent horse-handling skills.

  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.

  • Willingness to travel and work up to 6 days per week as needed.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry short distances.

  • Proficient computer skills.
